Validate a food-color solution before production
Translate bench results into line-relevant mixing, heat, packaging, shelf and batch evidence.

Color criteria
Set the initial, post-heat, packaged and shelf-end targets with an acceptable difference range. Retain a reference sample and stage photographs so development, production and quality compare the same outcome.
Process criteria
Mixing, shear, feed order, holding, cooling and equipment contact area can change at scale. Align bench parameters with the production line where possible, then verify actual batch size, mixing efficiency and heat curve.
Final packaging and shelf conditions
Clear bottles, bags, cans and multilayer films differ in light, oxygen and migration effects. Use the actual package or a close match rather than relying on an open laboratory vessel.
Documentation and traceability
Before production, complete supplier records, batch links, label review, retained samples and change notifications. Keep a batch-switching procedure. If a line result is poorer than a laboratory sample, investigate order, mixing, temperature/time, cooling and package changes before concluding that the color batch failed.
