Raw-material origins and batch traceability

Colorwell has natural color raw-material cultivation bases in Hubei and Guangxi. Procurement review should connect origin and batch evidence to the specific supplied product.

Cultivation bases

The Hubei base supports part of the raw-material supply and batch-documentation discussions. The Guangxi base supports the raw-material network, sample discussions and supply-stability management. Confirm the origin of the particular product and batch under review.

Documents to check

  • Raw-material origin: region, cultivation batch and harvest or incoming-storage records, to help interpret batch variation and supply continuity.
  • Production and processing entities: actual manufacturer, applicable product standard, production license or contracted-processing records, and the relationships among cultivation, extraction, blending, supply and invoicing.
  • Batch testing: color value or content, microbiology, heavy metals and, where needed, pesticide or solvent residues and sensory indicators.
  • Application stability: pH, heat, light, oxidation, vitamin C, metals and shelf-life observations for the actual application.

Checks at each project stage

  • Before sampling: provide product category, shade, pH, sterilization conditions, package and shelf-life target.
  • Before pilot work: confirm batch testing, proposed labels, retained samples and the traceability path.
  • Before production: archive origin, supplier identity, reports, retained-sample records and complaint-tracing procedures.
  • During review: retain fading, sediment, heat and light-test results to guide later formulation changes.

Prepare a documentation request

Include the destination market, product type, target shade, process and planned purchase quantity to discuss the relevant records. Cultivation-base information alone does not confirm a specific batch’s manufacturer, certification, performance or suitability for an overseas market.
